Nicola Hadfield
Background
International décor and
design expert, and award-winning entrepreneur Nicola Hadfield has
consulted on an impressively diverse range of creative and marketing
projects since her founding in 1994 of Decorex SA, which she sold
eight years later.
She has proved that she
has a unique flair for synthesizing the best of the classical and the
contemporary with a clients vision and budget, while scattering the
finished design with individual accents which create that enviable and
unique ‘wow’ factor.
Whether it is a home
belonging to Stylish Individuals living in South Africa (as
illustrated in her recently published book entitled “Nicola Hadfield’s
– Beautiful Homes of South Africa”, or her involvement in an
eye-catching, blue-chip, retail shopping precinct such as “Design
Quarter” in Johannesburg, there is a free-spirited harmony about every
project she selects.
Since 1998 her horizons
have broadened into a mosaic of challenges which would daunt most
people, but not Nicola.
Recent achievements
include the complete re-vamping of South Africa’s Interior Design
Guild - SAGID – to stimulate a vibrant forward-looking image;
involvement in the re-vitalising of South Africa’s design disciplines
by contributing towards the grouping of them under the more effective
banner of “One Voice”; and is also on the South African committee for
“Leading Women Entrepreneurs of the World”. She has also recently
launched her 2nd jewellery range entitled “Desert Classics”
a stunningly feminine range of jewellery.
